Hi all, Took the day off to detect some property I recently received permission for. This is the perfect weather for our hobby. So glad the heat is gone! :'( The area is right in the middle of the battle of Williamsburg. The area is super trashy so I thought it may take some time to hit the good things. As luck would have it I worked a small area and boom the relics started popping out. It's been a while since I have found such a concentration of relics. The best of the day is a Eagle button. Also loads of shrapnel and Minni's. I hope this just the beginning of things to come. Thanks for looking and I will keep you posted. Life is good......... ;D

Cool indeed! There is a question lurking in the back of my mind for anyone that has MD'd civil war sites. What would you do if you came across the remains of a soldier? Or have you ever encountered such a find?

That would be a creepy find. I guess if he had a gold tooth we may find him. :o :o :o
