I do appreciate the wickered flask. Have you checked the top for a hallmark?

I've owned a lot of bottles in wicker, but they usually were demijohns in coarse wicker (or other fibrous covering). I admire the tight, small-diameter wicker-work on the flask.

Harry I didn't get it yet but the auctioneer said "Marked E.D. Bte. S.D.G.D. which means Patented Without State Guarantee." which I'm told is a French mark. Sheperdess I gave up drinking 19 months ago or I would use it... :occasion14:
