Went back to hunt the rocky sandbars in the creek. This area was a swimming hole and fishing hole in the past and there are a lot of artifacts left over from those days. Took some pictures of the area, but used a setting on the camera with too much blue. Tried to fix the color and hope the pictures are o.k.
Here's the sandbars:

Wheaties to the right, clad and memorials to the left and sterling in the middle:
The trail parallel to the creek (there's still good stuff off the trail, too):
