Beautiful 1929 Mercury Dime

My first Mercury dime, and it is just beautiful!

Found it in a town forest beside a stone wall next to an old large pine tree. Someone must have taken a rest there and left this there for me to find.

Amazing how one little dime can make your whole day!

Way to go, as you hunt more and more with your ACE 250 and find more silver dimes, you will learn to recognize the signal for silver. It is a GREAT sound and when your machine locks on a dime signal and you hear that special sound, you will get goose bumps. LOL

Finding that one dime gives you the rush to tirelessly hunt for another six hours after you find one, and yet if you find nothing else for the rest of the day you'll still go home happy.

Johnny said it right, one merc and it's on for another few hours and the overlapping gets really tight. Beautiful merc, my favorite coin to find. You're looks really great.

Congrats! That dime has a LOT of relief to it and is in impressive condition. I did not find my first merc dime until March, 2007. Can't remember what year, though.
