I found this near my house on Friday. I am really happy with it as it is my first old cufflink. It features a sailing ship and the word VICTORY at the top.

Shipcufflink.JPG

I know that there was and HMS Victory in the Royal Navy, and that it was the flagship of the Royal Navy during the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. I am not sure if this is the ship that is depicted on the cufflink/button.

What do you all think about it?

What ever it is I am really happy with it, and love the design.

Good Luck & Happy Hunting,

That's a really cool cufflink and probably is related to the HMS Victory.

Great little piece of history. You just don't see cufflinks like yours pop out of the ground very often.
