Spent Sunday door-knocking with my buddy Will...
He hit a 3-run homer with a Roosevelt, A Mercury & a '90 Seated...One shy of the coveted grand slam...oh well, not bad at all!
& this was my lucky haul for the day...a '46-D Roosevelt, '36-S Washington, '53-D Washington, '64-D Washington, no-date Standing,
'35-D Walking, '42 Walking...
an '87 Indianhead, 12 Wheats, & a mine tag dated 1894...
I'd show the Indian & Wheats, but they need to soak in olive oil for awhile...
Look at the second picture...the white dots on the quarter & the half is where they were together in the same hole...
a 2-coin "spill"...

Dave

wow that is a great day.

and Welcome to T-net :icon_thumleft:

and if I might ask, most of my properties to hunt come from networking with people I know. What is your success rate going door to door?

Thanks Bob....
Generally speaking, we seem to get permission at least 90% of the time...
It's all about the pitch & being respectful...& sometimes just being lucking & getting on a roll,
like on a nice day when alot of people are outside after cabin fever & curious
& even ask you to do their yard too!

Hey Pathfinder...
We were just cruising parkways & door-knocking in a turn-of-the-century & later set of neighborhoods...
Many places are hunted, to be sure, & then there's the yard here & there that are loaded...I think the key is
to shy away from the obvious spots & read the looks of the ground in the less obvious areas...something my hunting buddy
got me to really start looking at...

I was driving through an older neighborhood in the area and wondering how to get access. Sounds like this is it.

SWEET! Certainly a better day than most of what I've had in the last year.

The more you dig, the more you dig 'em.
