We thought we had all weekend to search the top half of our 2nd Fav Field, but....
after 1 hour of gridding the seed drilling machine turned up. (this farmer will not let us on after the seed is in) We found out that as it was due to rain tonight he had decided to drill the Wheat in. We found out which edge he was starting from, came 10 rows away, speed-ed up pace, shortened the runs, & dug the best signals. The game was on! Covering the ground quickly in front of the tractor was made more difficult by the near gale force winds which blow the dry clay soil from the tractor in our faces. I'm thinking of designing detecting goggles
After 2 hours the game was over & the field completed.
So we tried the nearby stubble field for another 2 hours.

but.if you beleave i found 54 coins(roman-numidia) +20 other metalic objects in 2 hours of detection using a gti 2500. its true.

I know what you mean't, but you've seen how slow i am and i've seen how fast you detect!

I bet it some serious pace with a tractor up your a*se (so to speak)!

I bet it some serious pace with a tractor up your a*se (so to speak)!

Too fast in some ways, probably why we had no hammered, although this area was only half as good as the bit we did.

We did get the cover a lot of land in a short period & was worth it as it was our last chance.

Tomorrow we will do the rough bit, that I planned with you, before our plans changed. Trouble is its a bit rough for the Cortes & Dad will moan.
Still should get a few scrappies & maybe a hammered, but our good options are rapidly dissappearing under crops.

Depends...
I have several Albums lebelled with IDs including GPS reading.
4 Cabinets of displayed items in the local Museum which I rotate every few years.
Some lesser types are dumped in sorted bags.
