I figured I'd go get some more practice with my new AT Pro this morning since practice makes perfect. I went to a spot that I thought I had gone over fairly well with my old Fisher F2 before it broke. I had much better luck this time, which was surprising because I thought I cleared it out pretty good before. I was doing so good at getting coins that I started not using my iron audio, and ended up digging a bottle cap... oh well. I think one bottle cap for all the change I got was worth it. This detector is a beast once you learn it! Heres my loot:

Still no silver, hopefully soon. Also, just when my arm was getting used to my 11 dd coil, my 8x5 came in the mail. I cant wait to try it out, its crazy how much smaller it looks and feels!

I doubt you'll be putting the 8.5x11 back on!

Thanks everyone! We'll see tomorrow how fast I can get hooked on it

nice finds congrats HH

Great hunt! Keep them coming......

So you had a chance to try out the 5x8? How you like it?

Yes, I have another post called first time with the 8x5. I really love it, depth is great, and separation is great also. Also it really lightens up the detector

Lol

Wow, cool finds with your new machine.

I just got an AT Pro myself last week and have only had a chance to try it out twice so far because it has been raining here so mich lately. I was able to find about a half dozen coins so far with it, all clad of course except for two early 1960's pennies which are like 95% copper.

I am anxious for some good weather to try it for a whole day somewhere and not just an hour or two between rain storms.

Best of luck with your new detector.
