I'm pumped up this morning

Dusted off the etrac and headed to a favorite old park. My silver count has been down due to the fact I've been trying to master the deus

Typical walking back to the truck telling myself one more signal and bam a solid 12-49 at nine inches. I said this might be something good.

Cut a large careful plug check the dirt it's out. Swept some dirt away to see a large disc. Picked it up.and new I had a silver dollar

These are very hard to come by. It made my day and thought I'd share with you guys

HH Jer

Thanks everyone for the nice comments

I needed a big find after the dipa and the last 100 hrs I've been working the deus exclusively. I was finding old coins with the deus

I just find more with the etrac. The types of hunting I do the fbs is the ticket. The deus for everything else.

It's a thrill to anticipate a good reading then dig and recover what the machine is telling you

Thanks again guys

Never found a silver dollar. I bet that Morgan screamed at you.
I've dug a few 12-49's,, turned out to be clad quarters.
Congrats

Yes a lot of money back then

It sat right off a path. Perfect spot to sit and rest. Usually 46 47 quarters for me. I've dug halfs at 1/50.

Wasn't a number you see often on etrac. I was anticipating copper or brass fitting. Was crossing fingers that it may be a Half before I dug.

Glad it was what it was. There out there. I don't know how it was missed over the yrs. It was close to a tree.

Thanks again guys

Deus would sucked that up & blown your ears off at 10 inches.

Agreed. Would have given you a signal at 20" I think! Great find. Definitely a top 5 on the wish list that may happen someday (compared to the wish list that will never happen, although I may want to reconsider that after my recent luck).

Thanks a lot guys

A ace 250 would have found this coin. No doubt the deus would have found it. I wasn't knocking the deus

The etrac just does a great job at pounded parks. I'd much rather have found that awesome tree coin you found man

Morgan's are out there. Just wish a few gold coins would show up after how much time I've spent hunting over the yrs

Thanks guys

I've been fortunate over the yrs with this being my 4th silver dollar in my career. They are a thrill to find every time

The last one I dug about three yrs ago. My brother walked right by it. It was sticking half way out of the ground surrounded by can tops.

He was pretty sick when I said you just walked by a Morgan lol. There huge coins but they do get lost
