I paid $3 for mine at Family Dollar store. Havent used it yet. Just to let you know it is kinda heavy.

I used mine tonight for the first time and the spade part bent kinda easily. Also, the pole part wouldn't stay extended when I pushed it into the ground.

Show up at some parks with this shovel and you could do the hobby much harm and might get yourself a ticket for damageing the grass and have to pay for reseeding. Out in the sticks now, it's ok. It's much better to keep a low profile.
