Out this morning in between rain showers at a local park. Hitting the quarters pretty regular after a ballgame last night. I got a good hit shallow, about three inches and just kinda popped the grass up. I saw stars and corner of a wing, started getting a little bit excited. All hope was lost as it turned out to be just a sacachawega one dollar. But better than diggin a hundred zincolns. Hunted about an hour, ended up with about $4 in clad. Going to try and get out later. Wet ground, easy diggin.

$4 a hour, not bad. I pulled a 6 1/2 hour hunt last weekend and came up with about 80 cents a hour. Keep at it!
