Got permission to hunt the house of one of my towns founding fathers and turned this token up in the back of the property by the alley.
Thought it was a half dollar but it was too light then I saw the big indian head and knew I had something I have been looking for a long time.
Back reads Indian Cigar Store good for 50c in trade 314 4th st. that's from Santa Rosa California my home town. Owner said grandpa was a big cigar smoker. No fooling. also found monogramed silver earring from owners grand mother and returned it to them, 1900 barber dime, and ww1 military buttons great day of digging with the owners son, him finding targets with a bounty hunter and me checking them with the etrac. He is hooked I have a great permission

Beautiful condition on that token - the ground has been very kind to it. Very nice find.

Love the Cigar Store Indian token and that was a great act of kindness knowing that the earring belonged to the owner's grandmother and returning. That is worthy of Honorable Mention status! :icon_thumright::icon_thumleft:

Here is a photo of the returned earring
