I dig these from time to time but have never attempted to research and report. I'm trying to on this one but just can't seem to find the right website to look it up. It was found in Mass. It's old and in pretty rough shape. On one side it says MASS US PU?? (hard to read) and the on the other it says F10563. Pretty large band found near a lake so I'm guessing from a goose or swan or duck. Appreciate any help on the ID!

I found a dead grackle once with a Federal band on its leg. I sent it in to the gov and they sent me a certificate with the banding info. That was back in the 70s. I’m sure somewhere there is an office in MA that can tell you the specific info on the bird.

I used that website to report one we found. It was a racing or homing pigeon that they do not track but provided me with info anyway to track down the loft. Unfortunately it was no longer there. Great experience though!
