As you can see, I have waaaaaaay too much idle time! I made copies (from Google maps) of everything in a 25 - 30 mile range of all the local parks and printed them in the 4x6 size to fit in one of those cheapie 4x6 photo albums ($2). Most of these I never heard of so now I have even more places to hunt!

That is great. I made a spreadsheet of a good portion of parks in my area. I then posted the file in my state forum. No one has said anything about it yet but what the heck.

Actually, that's a pretty good idea! You could, of course, have bought a small computer, paid a monthly fee for a wireless modem (for two years whether you went on a hunt or not), found some way to hide the computer in your car, made sure you had your power converter, and/or battery charger on hand at all times, and then spent time in the evening adding some KML code to Google Earth so you could keep track of where you dug, when you were there, what you found and your GPS coordinates.

But, hell no, you had to do something so simple... I love it!
