:coins: On the way back home from picking up a box of halfs, I stopped at 2 banks across the street from each other. The first one had no halfs. The 2nd one, the teller had 1 half in her tray. I gave her the $.50 & put the coin in my pocket. I walked out to my car & took a look there. Finally after 2 1/4 years & some 750,00 coins, in my hand was a beautiful 1970 "S" Kennedy half dollar. It is in AU condition. My first 1970 Kennedy half in the wild. It's nice to know that they are still not extinct in the wild as I had feared. Last October, I bought a 1970 D" from a dealer at a coin show for $10. That was the first & only coin I have bought since I started coin roll hunting/collecting in Dec 2010. I'm still smiling!

Nice. Always great to knock a coin off the wish list. Congrats.

Very nice!!! I scored my first and only 70 S kennedy a few months back, it was the only piece silver I ever got from a skunk and sons roll... Yours sounds to be in much nicer condition though, congrats!

As of yesterday, I have found the 70 D, 70 S, and yesterday the 1976 S 40%er. I can die in peace now. Sweet cull! It is always important to buy them all, even 1 loosie.
