Bought this at open storage unit sale

A couple bought 3 storage units and opened up 1 of them for a yard sale yesterday. Didn't have to much that was special so far hope to get back when they open the other 2. But I did find this and bought it for $2.00 not sure how old it is but I love it. Anyone have any ideas? All brass except for pin to slide open aperture to cover the small lens.

The scope looks to be well made. It may be a nautical scope. But it does look to be antique.

Love the spyglass. Even if the resale value were pretty good, I would keep it for myself just because I like the look.

I own one myself. Got it on my boat. Even tried to use it a couple of times.

Fully extend all the tubes.

While looking through the eyepiece move the eyepiece tube in and out until something akin to focus appears.

Just the eyepiece tube, not any of the middle tubes...

Say arrrrrrg.
