the 1965 canadian nickel could be worth some $$$
there were 2 verieties minted that year so look into it.

hint: look and see if on the crown at the back of her head the jewel is detached from the crown.
if so then the vf20 could be worth 50$ maybe even more if in better condition.

Got the nickel out and looked. Not sure exactly what you are talking about but I looked with a magnifying glass and saw a tiny tear drop shaped item under the crown about 3/4 the way back down the crown from the front. Its hard to say for sure but I see no obvious connection to the crown. It's so, so tiny though even with my magnifing glass??
Could you send some photos of one that is and is not connected??
Happy Hunting!

i am sorry but my scanner is not hooked up to my computer, because i do have a picture of it in a book,

but i will try to explain it better, so here it goes

all the way at the back of the head, on top of the crown there is a little jewel. that jewel could be connected to the crown or not, if its tear dropped shaped, then its probably connected, but if its round, then its probably not connected.

the one thats worth the $$ is round and not connected

i know its difficult to see it, because i have struggled before too.
i will try to hook up my scanner later today, and upload a pic.
