Bracelet with Markings

I picked this bracelet up at a Goodwill store for a couple bucks and can't figure it out.

It's marked 14K, then a diamond shape, a plus sign (+), and then I think a B.

I'm thinking it's gold filled but it does not have any fraction like most of the stuff I've seen gold filled (1/20 14k) or some other combination.

Any help on what this might be?
Thanks

Possibly a maker's mark. You are just gonna have to do all the familiar tests to see if it is solid 14k or something else.

will the scratch and acid test make it just scrap? It's a nice bracelet I was going to post on ebay but don't want to do so without know what it really is.

Post pics of the marks on here. You could always list it as "marked 14k, magnet will not stick but not acid tested".

I did not do the magnet test, thanks. I'll try that and load up a pic, not sure how good the markings will come out but I'll give it a try.

Use a very fine stone, and scratch on the edge, except a small shiny spot, usually will not leave any major damage.

Now a days it doesn't matter what it says you have to test everything. I have found so many fake 14KT marked items it isn't even funny.

When in doubt and your not comfortable filing the piece (or don't have a test kit) take it to your nearest jeweler, they will tell you whether it is real or not.
