Decided I couldn’t sit in all weekend and needed to get out for a little. Headed out to a freshwater lake. Figured I’d be wet in the water anyway. Was worth it as I found two rings. Gold I believe 10k (stamp is hard to read) star sapphire ring and silver black onyx ring. Silver is stamped Land of Sabaa 925. Never heard of a star sapphire before this year and is second one found this year. Also has some small diamond chips too small to test.

Nice looking rings, the silver ring has the distinct look of middle eastern region.

Nice finds!

Beautiful blue stone, any idea what location the sapphire came from is?

I know some come from India and the Sub-Continent.
Thank you! I’m really not sure. The stone is darker than the other one I found and the star is much more pronounced.

Thank you! I’m assuming it was made in Israel based on the stamp Land of Sabaa 925. That’s all I can find about it though.

I'd get out in the rain for silver and gold. Congratulations on the fine recoveries and thanks for the post.
Thank you and thanks for the reply! Yeah rain and wind was and always will be worth it for silver and gold.

Got rewarded for getting out there in the rain and cold.
