Broke into the 1800's for the first time this year ! SILVER !

I hope this never ends ! As you all know I find mainly rings and clad at schools . This weekend has been a dream weekend for me ! Today it happened again . I hunted a school around the same location as yesterday's school hunt . I have hunted this school many times and in the past it has given up a few silver coins . The oldest until today was a 1929 Standing Liberty quarter . At 8 inches I had a VDI of +79 but it was really jumpy . It would go as low as +2 and even hit a negative sometimes . I dug it only because of the silver I had found in the past at this school . It turns out to be a 1897O Barber quarter ! It's very worn but I'll take ! I added the picture of the old piece of chain link that made the VDI so jumpy .
Clad was $6.59 for two hours .
I can't wait to get back out again !

Here is the other good find from today's hunt . It is from Mexico and is the size of a large U.S. dollar .

Nice job, Very sweet finding silver let alone 1800s silver. I have only found one injun so far this year that put me in the 1800's. Pretty cool looking peice from across the border as well!

Welcome to the 1800's club! I've been lucky enough to dig 3 coins from the 1800's and one from the 1700's so far this year. I'm hoping it only gets better! Congrats on the nice coin.
