So i wanted to give it a shot.. went to all 5 main branch banks here in town. talk about crappy.. combine i was only able to purchase 34 rolls of halves..

I found 6 clads.. Thats it LOL.. So my question is where would one get a decent amount of rolls? i am sure bigger banks in bigger cities are skunked.. guess i will have to hit a little road trip... but thought i would share.. nothing to brag about at all. but hey.. every little bit helps right?

There is neither ryhme nor reason with this hobby...Search all banks, buy all halves...Sometimes you get lucky, most of the time you don't.

If by clad you mean 40%ers, you actually did not do too bad ratio-wise, compared to what many here find in boxes.

Have been to bank(s) on Monday no rolls & back later in week to find rolls; month or so ago got 21 solid Rolls of %40'ers from a Bank have hit them ever week since & they have had no Rolls, someone brought those in & I got'em by being consistent.

Hit 6 Banks today only one had 10 hand Rolls but they were someone esle's dumps- had their name on it, no Silver.
Got 2 Loomis Boxes coming Thursday & 4 Brinks early next week, though my last 4 Brinks have been Skunks. June has been a terrible month only 19.8 ounces found probably just under half of that was from 2 trips (hand rolls) at same Bank; teller told me they got a guy who cashes them in every week.

It is fun. I think when i end up selling all my gold i will cash the check and buy 2k worth of halves on the way back home.. I had a good time searching them..
