Wish I could be of help there Chong, but its hard for me to tell much about it. If I could see the flaking better on it maybe I could venture a guess. Fairly recently it has been argued that Sandia isnt really a legitimate point type, but of course I'm not qualified to argue about that. Most of the ones I have seen do seem to look like a lancelot point with a stem on one side though. Now around here, there are a few folks who have mistaken well reshapened Gary points for Sandia..... :icon_scratch:

i read something similar also. well this was recovered about 200 miles south of the sandia site, so it may have some relivence to it. these are the best pics i can come up with at the moment, the macromode on this is just horrible,the camera is a loner, if it were not, i would have thrown it off a cliff by now.
