I've been down with a broken foot, tendinitis and I'm still recovering from a nasty
case of bronchitis. But the weather was so nice today I went in my backyard for a
half hour and did some detecting. I never expected to find anything because I've
been over every inch of my yard, or so I thought. So I was really surprised to find
this costume jewelry brooch. When I showed my father he seemed to think it belonged
to my mom who passed away seventeen years ago. I'm waiting for one of my sisters
to possibly confirm this.

Wonderful find. Here's hoping it really was a family heirloom. Then it's a find beyond price.
