Buckle ID & other Relics

Went out today with a buddy and hit a few sites. The buckle looks familiar but I cant ID it yet. I'm thinking for a horse saddle. This was found in southern Maryland. Ill make a new post with all my finds but here are a few keepers. I traded a find from today for the Infantry Button.

Thank you everyone !! And Thanks VPNAVY for the ID. I didn't realize it at the time but I actually found all three parts to the photo used as an example. The buckle of course, the iron ring above, and the clasp that hooks to the ring.
