heres a beautiful brass "kettle" arrow point my detecting partner George found just over a week ago . after talking with some close archaeologist friends who work for an Indian Museum the are pretty sure its from the 1650's and most likely from the Narragansett Tribe from the eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island area

That's a beautiful point.
Perfect placement of the hole to run the hafting cord through.
I'm pretty sure the finder knows that shining that thing up would be a big mistake
