I've been out of commission for a while. Our best permission was overgrown and the bugs and heat have been terrible. But, recently one of our spots got bush hogged, and we've been able to get back out. This is from the last couple of weekends. I haven't found anything especially interesting, but lots of flat buttons, a few with interesting patterns, and a few tombacs. There are also some mystery items that I'm going to post under "What Is It?"

Not sure what it is. I posted it under "What is it?"

I think it is half of a small sword pommel. Most of the small sword pommels that I looked up had similar nipples where the tang would have been pinged. It also has a notch where the knuckle guard could have joined. Also, I found a sword guard or quilon block close by that was decorated with a similar motif.

The button with thirteen symbols, the larger one in your hand, always lead me to think Rev War.

Many patriotic buttons with the significant number of thirteen.

Nice detail on the buttons. I like the flower over the lined background. That seems pretty identifiable. Have you searched for anything on that one?
