I hate to be the bearer of bad news but your find is a civilian fashion button. Here it is on the Waterbury button website listed under the fashion category. I know this example has holes in it but I think that was just for mounting purposes. Or it might be the only example they could find of it to include in their site. Other than that it is a perfect match for yours.

Not really that bad news. Would have been worst if a rare CW button! (broken)
