Finally had a day off! Navy Davy and I tackled one muddy button hole. Luckily neither one of us got stuck in the knee deep quagmire.

After an hour and a half both of us were done out and called it a day. ND found a nice complete thimble and a Royal Regimental Artillery button. My finds included an 88th regiment and nice sporting button with the shank intact.

Nice score on the buttons, that's another great military button find. Any chance of us seeing a pix of the summer's button finds? You guys have been really doing well there and I would guess you and ND have quite a nice collection by now.
