Found this button, its in great shape for a dug find. Is anybody out there familiar with the pattern or a possible date?

There are 18 variations pictured in Tice's book and none of them are even close to yours. In fact there is not a matching button in Tice's book. I will look at some more references but, hopefully someone will ID it soon.

There are 18 variations pictured in Tice's book and none of them are even close to yours. In fact there is not a matching button in Tice's book. I will look at some more references but, hopefully someone will ID it soon.

Agreed. To me it looks like a 20th C metal in a 19th C Style of button.
