From what I can tell the button on the right looks like a very nice flower button from the mid 1800's. Does it have a flower design on it? Congrats on your nice finds.

Its either a flower or a multi pointed star. Late 1800's seems to make sense since both coins were in that time period. I showed them to a buddy and he thinks they are colonial. I dont have a clue as I dont find many buttons.
