Buttons mainly

This is yesterdays finds. Didn't find too much, mainly buttons. The one in the middle is interesting though , it's made of silver, as to it's age not really sure. Also had a broken hammered silver penny, probably Edward 1.

The button I guess is late 18th C Pretty cool one, not seen the nobbly type like that. Whats your good (ones pictured) to bad (plain tombac/4 holes) button ratio?

Hard to say really, like us all 4 hole buttons make up the majority.

thanks BuckleBoy, the button centre left is a 17th century button, not in bad condition for it's age. It still looks like it's new, the soil on the site really protects this type of find. This button probably dropped around the time of Newtons apple !.

Newton probably lost that button when the apple took its revenge on his cranium.
