Hi All -

I found this button over the weekend at a site that dates back to the early 1800s.

The design has crossed anchors behind a crest; the crest looks like it contains a key. It's about 3/4" across, and it rings up as 57-58 on my ATPro.

I've tried looking online for a match, and have not found anything close. I'm not sure if it's old or modern, military or decorative.

I'd be grateful if anyone can help me to ID this - thanks!

Are there any newer things being found at this site because that looks more like a modern button. The iron back makes me think so.

Yes, there is plenty of newer stuff there too - it's entirely possible it's modern.
