yup...theyre a pain...i throw them in a jar and they just stay there...my banks counter eats them, so id rather have the coin, instead of putting it thru the counter and losing it...hope this helps! keep it up and hh!

Agreed.. I used to throw Canadian coated steel cents back in the rolls to dump.. but now I keep them too.

I keep all foreign coins seperate, got so many i give them out when friends travel. I am keeping the canadian for a trip to niagra falls with the family paid for by canadian currency. I get most of my canadian by doing a finger sweep of the magnets on some coin machines.

Do not forget.. all the Canuck coins, even the loonies and twoonies are able to be picked up by a magnet... works great when I toss a magnet into the water at a wharf or pier. You can find very impressive amounts of money that way

There was a little scooping done as well..... but almost all of the coins are found with a magnet

Nice magnet finds.Next time I go back there I will pack a magnet along with my metal detector

Thanks for all the replies I was just curious. Ill start keeping more of them while searching. When I get enough ill find my passport and head up to canada and spend it lol.


Great finds Bartholomewroberts never even though of that
