Canadian friends Help! Upper Canada early 1800's (Half)Penny Token???

Toasted HalfPenny/Penny Token, closest one I can find is this one from upper canada...http://www.numicanada.com/medias/jetons/token-commercial-change-1821-g.jpg.
Obviously mine is a tad bit toasted but you see "Penny Token" on the top and "...R or P....Canada" on the bottom. The only thing I can see on the back is a possible "0" zero. PennyToken1.JPGPennyToken2.JPG.
Inquiring minds want to know and mine is full of inquery!!!

Looks like you correctly identified it.:coffee2:

I think this beats my oldest coin: 1848 Farthing, by about 25 years or so!

I do believe you have the obverse correct, and also that the reverse is the commercial change type.

This narrows it down to....

Charlton:

UC-8A1
UC-9A2
UC-9A3
UC-10
UC-11

Is the die axis coinage or medal? The answer to that question either solves it, or narrows it down to 4.

If I am correct about the "0" being part of 1820, it is a coin axis. With your information I was able to determine it is a "wide canada" strike.

I think this is the correction orientation. If you hold the coin in this position and rotate it around, is the ship right side up, or upside down?

Thanks, that's the exact link I used to help with my IDing the "wide canada" variant. You have been a great help Iron! :occasion14:

I'm pretty much at 100% now. With the zero in the 1820 date, and that matched with your ship obverse, it makes it UC-9A3... no other possibilities.
