My hunting buddy and I got out today for an afternoon cellar hole hunt. The foundation we were eyeing was adjacent to a large field that has been plowed up consistently for the past 5 or 6 years. Picked up a couple good high tone signals around the cellar hole that turned out to be large coppers. The first one was really thin and read up just below where an indian head would read on my E-trac. I'm guessing its some sort of counterfeit KG because it started to flake away like it was pewter almost immediately out of the ground. No detail at all on it. she's a smoothie. Second signal was a 12-46 at 8 inches and turned out to be a matron head LC. Can't get a date off her though.

Moved out into the open field area and picked up a few buttons and a nice Civil War token.

Found this nearby. Not sure what it is but it has a picture of an eagle on it and appears to say M. Disson on the top and Phila. on the bottom. The last pic shows the back of it. It almost looks like a collar brass stud but seems a little too large to be. I was also thinking wax seal but the image would be reversed if it were. Any help with this relic would be appreciated.

Also turned up this nice button in the field area.

Nice finds. The Disston item is a hand saw logo rivet. They were/are quality tools.

Excellent variety. The soil took the details out of the LC's.
That one button looks like a cluster of grapes? I'm sure some of our Button & Relic experts will chime in.
Congrats on some sweet finds.
