Most of the rhyolite artifacts we find here are from transitional and early woodland periods. Susq. Broad - Perkiomen Broad - Leihigh , Canfield, Drybrook and other fishtail varients. A few examples are shown. Most of the rhyolite found here comes from Adams County near Gettysburg where it is found in the form of boulders, but was also mined to get to the fresh unweatherd material. A few stray artifacts are made from ryholite of North Carolina sources.

In this pic. top center is a Drybrook fishtail point nearly 4 inces long.
