Hit the fields again today but I have to tell you it was bloody murder the ground now is like trying to dig through concrete we badly need rain, after the wettest summer on record I never would have thought I'd here myself say we need rain. Any way enough wining I did manage a couple of silver finds nice Charles1 pendent with the loop intact & a 1880 Victorian sixpence Young head, I also found(eyes only)a unusually stone with a purpose made hole it looks like to me this could have been used as some type of weight perhaps for fishing and could date back to bronze age, I know that 2 bronze age stone axes have been found very close to were I found this stone ,hope you enjoy the pictures sorry there were not moreTK
