...........there has to be room on this thread for an ol' fashion Kentucky covered bridge. This one was the only "suspension" bridge/covered bridge I've ever seen. ( Notice the cables around bridge making it a suspension bridge:

sherburne.jpg

I remember climbing in one of those badboys in Lewis County Ky when I was a kid.
Unfortunately, this bridge was burned by kids around 1985 trying to get warm in the
wintertime after falling into the Licking River below.
Regardless......pretty cool & great memories.........see ya mark

Holy COW! (I mean buffalo) Gorgeous pictures, Ron & April! Did you take those?

Thanks CG,

Yes, I took these, the Buffalo are on a big private ranch near the north Klamath Marsh in south central Oregon.

Don't mean to hog your thread, but I saw that you liked Black and white, so heres a couple more.

Couldn't stand it!

Of course my beloved Volunteers are actually mentioned in the song but there is more to Tennessee than Big Orange Football....sort of. Here's a few shots I took while in the Smokies last May.

The first is a view on the road from Gatlinburg to Newfound Gap looking west:

Looking West.jpg

The second is one of countless streams in the Park:

And the third is a view of the "Chimney Tops" which are also on the road from Gatlinburg to Newfound Gap.
