The wife got me the Excelertor search coil for my Ace 250. All I can do is look at it and dream lol As being in Wisconsin I will not get to use it for a few more months.. Anyone that has one , How are they, do they really work for deeper metal detecting. I can not wait to get out and try it. Any info or hints on how to work it would really be appreciated.. Thanks Shane :hello:

Heck yeah! Good Christmas gift!

I am really curious about this coil too......

I have had my ACE 250 for about 2 weeks and I plan on keeping it for a while.(GREAT DETECTOR!!!) ...so the 10x14 EXC. Coil is probably in my future....

As with any large coil swing it low and slow. Also remember that a large coil
see more of the ground mineralzation as well as seeing deeper, this can mask
targets and sometime will. Sweep the area from different directions to help
avoid missing targets. going over the area with a smaller coil first and removing
everything it finds first then use the larger coil will usually clean the area of most
but not all targets. Oh yea; don't forget the gloves and the shovel also.
