It was a great hunt. ended up with 149 silver coins dimes, quarters, halfs, and dollars. also one gold coin. if you have not done any of the compititon hunts you should give one a try.

I attended my first one here in OK just recently and had a ball. Being new to the game I didn't do as well as I probably should have but I learned fast! Fast is the key, at least at the hunt I atteded. All of the loot is very shallow and easy to find but you have to work fast and go on or get left empty handed. I have a bad back and have trouble getting up and down so I am going to have to figure out a way to do these hunts where I can keep up. They had drawings for several detectors, gold coins, etc., but I didn't win anthing except a silver dollar where I found a painted penny that put me into the prizes. JIM

SMDFX, Glad you enjoyed it. When you called the other night and left a voice mail, you mentioned a comp. hunt coming up in NC. Can you please tell me when and where, I'll meet you there.
Sorry I missed your call, but I left you a message.
Thanks,
xXx
