Hey folks! I found this Tuesday evening in a tot lot. I went to water hunt for a while and struck out so, on the spur of the moment, decided to stop by a park that I drove right past on the way home. I found 5 piece's of bling and the last find was this awesome 14K white gold ring with Ice. The ring weighs 10.3 grams and the diamond is roughly 1/3 carat. I had it polished by a jeweler yesterday and she shined up real nice.
I'm sure glad I decided to stop! As usual, I made a YouTube vid if you'd like to see it. HH!

I've had a few good finds in tot lots. The "veteran" detectorists at the club scoff at me and the tot lots, but I've found some gold and silver there. Nice easy digging too! That is one heck of a ring though, nice job!

That is certainly a BIG one! Congrats!

Thanks man. I belong to a club too and there are quite a few that hunt the tots as well. I have found a ton of sterling jewelry and just a few gold in them and even silver coins from the 1800's. There's also lots of foreign coins too. I like all types of detecting...HH!

Wow !!! Great find , congrats !

Sweet ring! I always check the tot lot, but no rings for me yet, just lots of clad.

Holy crap thats a beauty

It will come. I have found lots of sterling jewelry and just a few pieces of gold jewelry over the past 3 years in tot lots. I have a few parks within just a few miles of my house that I hit about once a week during warm weather. It only takes about 1/2 a day to detect them. Good luck and HH!
