I been busy and have not visited for a while, so a big hello!! I have a question about my Cibola's pinpointing which I usually never use except to check GB and to set the TH,I just X the spot and dig. I did some test in my garden the other day .I had the threshold set at about 1 o-clock with a slight hum and sensitivity on max doing some test on a copper penny,the first test was done at 4",got a nice solid beep and the pinpoint worked fine with a hum and and the usual higher pitch passing over the target, I tested the same coin at 7" with the same setting and still got a good beep sweeping over the coin but when the pinpoint was pressed I got the typical threshold hum but it goes silent passing over the target,seems the pinpoint works fine on shallow targets but not well on deeper or not on my Cibola.I was wondering if this is typical on the Cibolas? I've used this detector for 2 years and it has always done this on deeper targets
