I ask for you guys help today. I changed sites and dug a couple of civil war era bullets. Funny thing is they are 2 ringers instead of 3 ringers. They are about the same size as 3 ringers just with 2 rings. One has a flat base. One has a little hole in it. I've lost my civil war bullet website and I feel lost. Any help from you experts would be greatly appreciated., I have pictures. Thanks in advance. Zaxfire69

It is a sharps carbine depending on size either a 52cal or 54 Cal.

Sharps Carbine. That is the one with the little hole in the base right? I dug these today. Never dug any bullet other than a regular 3 ringer. Well that identification excites me. Never dug one of those. Wonder what about the flat base 2 ringer.

It is so hard trying to Identify bullets. The soldiers must have shot like a million different bullets. Without a Micrometer, ID book I am lost as a goose.
