After ten months working with the AT Pro, I cashed in my clad and turned it into silver.
Love the silver coins..

That's a great idea. I have been saving my clad for about 10 months also. I am planning on totaling it up around the 1 year mark.

Why not ? I see no down side to this at all - over time those jars/buckets of clad really add up !

AWESOME!! I do the same exact thing! At first, I used a little over a hundred bucks to purchase my Garrett Pro-Pointer, and now I save up my clad, turn it in and buy silver coins with it. So far, I have one full roll of 50 silver Washington quarters, a full roll and a half of Rosies, and almost a full roll of Mercury dimes, plus a handful of Walkers, Standers, Morgan Dollar, etc...One hobby has actually spawned another! Plus the kids like to get them out and look at them and listen to that silver clink clink clink...Cool post, glad to see those crusty old quarters and dimes going to some use...ddf
