Hello, I'm new here but thought I would post this news story. It talks about my ongoing effort to return many class rings that were found by my late father with his metal detector.
http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/50178377.html

it also ended up on the local TV news

What an awesome thing you are doing!!! :headbang: :hello2:

Here's another site that might help if you haven't tried yet: http://www.classringfinder.com/ and this site: http://www.abbycon.com/LostandFound/MainDirectory.htm

If I can help in anyway...let me know. I am a member of ancestry and sometimes I can get addresses from there of an individual. It's usually a couple years old, but something to work with. They also have some high school books posted, not many, but you never know!

Again...KUDOS to you for an awesome job! And to your Dad, KUDOS to him as well for finding and saving them, I know he's looking down at you with a big smile!!! :)

Thank you for the kind words. The rings from the 1970's and 1980's obviously are a bit easier to track, but I have lots of rings from the 30's, 40's and 50's. I even have one from 1922 and one from 1914. Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I will be happy to share the information that I got off the rings if that will help.

Also, I do have my dad's underwater metal detector and his Third Lung air compressor, so I think I will try to find some more rings to return.

the rings from the 30,40,&50's
till you add 18 years of age
can easily translate to ages
upper 70's, 80's, 90's
Then add that Women who Marry
