I hunt with a Quattro.
I'm sure I would love an Explorer, or an E-Trac too.
I use mine in trashy areas with a 5" coil. I don't rush. I get great performance.
Mad Witch is right. If you have experience with a Quattro it's a great machine.
It's not an Explorer, and never claimed to be. Andy Sabich is right on the money. The
Hunter that knows his machine will outperform ANYONE on any machine that doesn't know their machine well.

I like what I hear about the Pro Coil on the Explorer, and I like what I hear about how the E-Trac is performing in the field.

We are all partial to the detector we are doing best with.
