I was invited to scan 2 yards in a 30's neighborhood. They just happen to be on the same road where I had rented in 74'. Its boarded up and the grass needed mowing. Owner lived next door and told me to come back and he would mow it. Couple wheats and 15 lincolns was all there. Moved on down to the other 2 yards and the coins were everywhere. These came out of just the frt yards. Backyards next week. 1943-P War nickel was under a cedar tree. The 47 Merc was in the second yard. Thimble has "Life and Casualty Insurance Co." on it and some is type of promotion item. The old car has been in the ground awhile. Yards were not in good shape so the holes wont hurt it. Total, 20 wheats, 85 Lincolns, 5 nickels, 20 dimes and 14 quarters
