Nice find man. Every once and a while I find some mexican coins and clad but you hit the jackpot!!!

Holy crap! I hope to find some old silver when I go looking, never thought about gold rings! Congrats!

Nice find! You should think about posting something in the store, on craigslist, or call the store & tell them, and at least give a chance to the owner to find the ring. I would return it, maybe get a reward or something. That ring could be the guy's wedding ring & would really like it returned, and be willing to give you a reward. I found a nice engagement ring on the beach with my detector, I posted a craigslist ad for a couple months, got no legit claims, so now I can keep it with a clean conscious. Def cool to find some gold, though! Congrats!

Yeah I'll Maybe try and post something on Craigslist since I am 5-6hrs from where it was found.

It looks to me like that ring has been resized because it's thinner in one spot. You might get some people claiming it's their ring so I would find out what size it is first and ask people to describe the ring and also if they ever had it resized before giving it to just anyone who wants to claim it's theirs. Maybe even see if they kept their receipt form the coinstar machine.

Yep. They'll have to describe it. It does have a specific design on the out side. Also it's a pinkie ring. They will have to have some proof it's there's before ill let it go. Also along with actual location.

Why would someone put their ring in a Coinstar? I guess it fell in some way! How come people don't check the rejects when the machine says "some coins have been returned"

Wow! All of those?

I've seen some good stuff come out of Coinstars but wow!

I'm shocked by what people on here have been finding in reject trays. I sometimes find one or two coins here or there in a reject tray or around a coins machine (on the floor, etc.), but all of the machines (including Coinstar) tell the user to check the reject tray, so I'm surprised that people walk away leaving change in the tray.

I don't think all the machines are equipped with that warning, I know the ones in my area NEVER have anything in them, the machine will ask you about 3 times to check the reject bin!!

Hey, I lost a ring in a coinstar recently. I also happened to lose the following coins:
1. 1955 D - silver dime
2. 1957 D - Silver dime
3. 1985 Canadian Dollar
4. 2002 - 1 Krona Sweden
5. 1997 - 50 Centavos Nicaragua

8. 4 copper pennies 1968,1961D,1976D,1975
9. 1939 S - wheat penny

Congrats on the finds. I check my coinstart everytime, but the best I've found was a few nasty pennies and a couple european coins. I keep checking though.

Nice job I always check the coinstar machines found 2 silver quarters and a silver dime once but nothing like what you found...HH everyone

Hells Bells..Thats Awesome..I have my sons trained to check the machines...I find at least a silver dime a month...NEVER a gold ring...Great find!!!

Dunno judging from the amount of foreign coins, maybe the user is a foeigner?
