Colonial House site digs.. "with 1700s Coppas" What is this button??

Hello All,

Here is a tiny little button I found yesterday.. it is 3/4" by 1/2" with this cool little design on it!! It reminds me a little of a coat of arms or something Is this anything but a fancy design?? I also attached a pic of most of the stuff I have found at this site.. minus a couple of eagle buttons and a 1/2 Reale that I have not put in the tray yet.

Great stuff!

Your "mystery button" appears to be a late 18th or very early 19th century fancy sleeve link (cufflink) button.

Nice finds in your display. Buttons, CW era bullets, shoe buckle pieces, Spanish Silver... it'd make any Northeast Hunter drool.

Yeppers!! So far two 1774 George III.. one George II... one wasted but it is Colonial size!! a 179X and a 1814 large cent.. plus the 3 Reales.. a 2.. a 1.. and a 1/2!!

Pretty good site!!
