Took a walk into the woods today..It was so humid after a half hour or so i was soaked..
I said to myself,John what the heck are you doing out here...
I ventured near a opening in the stone wall and got a solid signal :icon_thumleft:

My first buckle of this type with one prong on it..Anyone know the date?Is it a knee buckle :dontknow:

I was stoked to see it..More additions to my colonial cake :icon_thumright:

Hunted around for about another hour and pulled this 1911 barber quarter :thumbsup:

100 year anniversary coin :hello2:

Just think my fellow hunters the killer months for detecting are right around the corner..

Great fat cast buckle & nice Silver !
Those openings in the walls always deserve a double scan,
they were often gated, giving lots of opportunity for things to be lost when opening & closing them.
